District Guide
I hope you all have had some great Key Club success so far this year! This District Guide should be a wonderful resource for all members of our district. There is something for everyone! There are faculty advisor resources, club officer training guides, and resources for the general members. Please, please, please utilize everything I have included! That said, I also would like to emphasize the fact that everything is included in a folder; therefore, you must take the initiative to search for what you are looking for. I tried my very best to include everything I could think of in this guide in order to benefit everyone in our district. Before you do anything else, I would like to seriously encourage you to take a few minutes to browse around and see what is provided for you.

I really hope you guys, as the most important aspect of our Illinois-Eastern Iowa District, can get some use out of this guide. Keep an eye out for more information sent by your Lieutenant Governor or other District Board members. Do you have an e-mail address? If so, please check it at least once a week. We also love hearing from you! Your club's success depends on the effort you put forth this year. If your club is doing extraordinarily well, we want to celebrate your success! Write an article for The Iolian ? our district publication ? and share your success with a fundraiser, interclub project, or other Kiwanis Family event. If your club faithfully turns in reports, newsletters, etc., please join us in Decatur, Illinois for our District Convention 2010 ? ?Service is Forever.? We will distribute awards, dance the night away at our Saturday night dance, host sessions for you to learn more about Key Club and your vital role as a Kiwanis Family member, and have a marvelous time doing it!
Thank you everyone! Thank you for participating in this wonderful organization, sacrificing your time and effort to improve your club and our district, and volunteering for your homes, schools, and communities. If you have any more questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me, or another District Board member, at any time.
